A series of short docs for Channel 4 made by young directors new to television. Isis Thompson deals with memories of young love from the perspective of two 16 year olds. Jamie Jessett merges stylised imagery with audio interviews to illustrate the working day of a drug dealer. Jeremy Cole fuses documentary with animation to chart a day in the life of an unemployed man as imagined by his 6 year old stepson. Marlon Rouse Tavares looks at police stop and search laws through the eyes of white British Muslim Sean O’Sullivan. And Simon Lane and Tom Sweetland explore the changing nature of community through a barbershop in Tottenham.
