​Carol (OLIVIA COLMAN, Broadchurch, The Crown,) is a tough single mother striving to keep her family together. Ying (KATIE LEUNG, Harry Potter, Wild Swans) is an illegal immigrant from China who sells pirate DVDs and stolen phones at cafés, pubs and barbershops around Brixton. Richard (LENNIE JAMES, Save Me, Line of Duty, The Walking Dead) is a recovering heroin addict who spends every day struggling to stay clean. And Kasia (KATHARINA SCHUTTLER, The Promise) is a young Polish woman struggling to make ends meet and contending with the mess she’s been left in by her gambling addicted boyfriend.
